The MTP Backcountry Cooking & Utility Table is a 10 oz, tree-mount aluminum camp table built for backpackers who refuse to cook in the dirt. It straps to virtually any tree in under 60 seconds using the included 5-foot cam buckle strap, giving you a stable cooking surface on any trail.
An integrated fuel canister slot fits standard 3.5 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz canisters from MSR, Jetboil, GSI, and Snow Peak — your stove sits level so you can focus on the meal, not balancing gear on rocks. At 0.25" folded, it slides into any pack alongside your gear without taking up a slot.
Built from 5052 aluminum (the same alloy used in marine and aerospace applications) with a 45 lb load capacity — more than enough for a double-burner setup, a full cook kit, and a water filter. Ultralight, made in the USA, patent pending.

What's included with my purchase?
The table, plus a 5-foot cam buckle strap ($16.95 value) — everything you need for your first trip.
Which stoves are compatible?
The integrated fuel canister slot is built for standalone canister stoves — like the MSR PocketRocket — where the stove screws directly onto the canister. It fits standard 3.5, 8, and 16 oz canisters from MSR, Jetboil, GSI, and Snow Peak. If you're running a Jetboil integrated cooking system, the canister slot won't fit the unit itself — but the table surface works perfectly as a flat, stable platform. Just set it on top and cook as normal.
Does the table fold up small enough to fit in my backpack?
Yes — at just 0.25" folded, it slides right into your backpack alongside the rest of your gear.
Where is the table made?
Made in the USA — manufactured in Iowa using 100% solar-powered production.
What is the table made of?
5052 aerospace-grade aluminum — the same alloy used in aircraft and marine parts. Light, but built to hold real weight.
